The weather and my garden

Another day in sunny Queensland. Another day without rain. I hate gardening but even I can see that the garden looks bad. The weather is beautiful though, somedays I feel guilty about enjoying the weather because I know that rain is so desperately needed. The weather lets me get out and take photos though, I will put some of them on the blog later. I like going up to the National Parks not far from Brisbane and hiking and photographing. From my back verandah I look over the city and at the moment there are big threatening clouds. But all they do is threaten, nothing falls out of them. I should really get out and water my remaining plants, being a Tuesday I am allowed to water today, but I don't feel like it, I want it to rain. Perhaps if I did water the plants it would rain just to prove to me that gardening is frustrating. Some Noisy Minah birds have built a nest in a tree in my garden, I think that they realise that they are in no danger nesting in a non-gardeners garden.
